Where can I use HomeComm Calendar?
You can use the HomeComm Calendar from anywhere in the world with a browser and Internet access. HomeComm Calendar will work with almost any browser, including Netscape and Internet Explorer versions 2.0 and higher. However, we work best with Internet Explorer 5.0.

Help with signing-in and registration
Users can have access to Calendar, Mail, My HomeComm, Web Pages, Chat, Forum, Notice, Postcard and Web Pal by using the same password. The Password can be obtained by subscribing to the HomeComm services. Please click here to subscribe to the HomeComm services.

What if I forget my password?
Click on the 'Change Password' button.

What if I want to change my User Profile?
Click on the 'Change User Profile' button.

What if I want to change my Secret Question?
Click on the 'Change Secret Question' button.

How can I view the day?
To view your schedule and tasks for the day, click on the 'Day' button on the Mini Calendar.
To move to the current day, the day(s) before or the day(s) after, click your 'Day Arrow' button on the scheduler. Another way is to click the relevant date or the 'Mini Day Calendar' arrow on the Mini Calendar.
To go back to the current date, just click on the 'Today' button.

How can I view the week?
To view your schedule and tasks for the week, click on the 'Week' button on the Mini Calendar.
To move to the current week, the week(s) before or the week(s) after, click your 'Week Arrow' button on the scheduler. Another way is to click the relevant date or the 'Mini Day Calendar' arrow on the Mini Calendar. The week will begin on the current date.
You can also view any particular week by clicking on the 'Mini Year Calendar' arrow on the Mini Calendar. Then, click on the relevant week which you wish to view. To go back to the current date, just click on the 'Today' button.

How can I view the month?
To view your schedule and tasks for the month, click on the 'Month' button on the Mini Calendar.
To move to the current month, the month(s) before or the month(s) after, click your 'Month Arrow' button on the scheduler. Another way is to click the relevant month or the 'Mini Month Calendar' arrow on the Mini Calendar.
To go back to the current date, just click on the 'Today' button.

How can I view the year?
To view the calendar for the whole year, click on the 'Year' button on the Mini Calendar.
To go back to the current date, just click on the 'Today' button.

How do I add a task (To Do List)?
From the Day or Week or Month or Year view, click on the 'Tasks' button to create a task. This will take you to the "Add Task" page, where you can set: · Title: A short description of the event, 80 characters or less, that will appear in your calendar. Use the Notes field if you need to use more than 80 characters.
Date: The date on which your event occurs.
Priority: The importance of the particular task.
Sharing: If you have activated Calendar sharing, this field determines how the event will appear to others.

Notes: Allows you to enter more detail about an event. This field will not appear in Calendar views, but will appear when you click on the event. · How can I view, edit or delete a task (To Do List)? To view a Task, the User should click the Task Title. The User can also click on the relevant date to view the Tasks for that particular day. To edit, click the Task Title. The User can then modify any task. To delete a task, click the Task Title. The User can delete the Task by clicking on the 'Removed Check' button.

How can I view the whole task list?
Click on the 'List All Task' button to view all the tasks listed.

How can I change the status of the task?
If a task is not finished, there will be a red coloured check next to the task. To show that the task has been completed, click on 'Task finished' to change the colour of the check from red to green.

How do I add an event?
From the Day view, you can click on the hour in which your event starts. From the Week view, click the "Add Event" button. This will take you to the "Add Event" page, where you can set:

Title: A short description of the event, 80 characters or less, that will appear in your calendar. Use the Notes field if you need to use more than 80 characters.

Date: The date on which your event occurs. If you want the event to appear on multiple days, make it a recurring event.

Time: If the event doesn't have a specific time, select "All Day Event". All-day events will appear at the top of your Day view. For events that happen between set times, choose the "timed event" radio button.
Duration: Specify how long the event will last.

Type: Specify the type of event.

Sharing: If you have activated Calendar sharing, this field determines how the event will appear to others.

Notes: Allows you to enter more detail about an event. This field will not appear in Calendar views, but will appear when you click on the event.

The User must then save the task. The User can add another task to the same day or to another day.

From the Month view, click the relevant date and this will take you to the "Add Event" page, where you fill in the relevant details.

From the Year view, click the relevant date and this will take you to the relevant week whereby you can click on the 'Add Event' button to put in the particular event.

How do I view, edit or delete an existing Event?
To view an Event, the User should click the Event Title. The User can also click on the relevant date to view the Events for that particular day.

To edit an Event, click the Event Title. The User can then modify any event.

To delete an Event, click the Dust Bin icon.


Log out
Click 'Logout' to logout and exit from the HomeComm Calendar services.
