Subscription
Services enables the public to subscribe to HomeComm services
online. The Subscription Services will comprise of the following:
Online Subscription
Online Subscription provides a convenient way for subscribers
to subscribe to HomeComm's services and publication via
the Internet using a web browser. The procedure is simple,
a subscriber just needs to complete and submit a Web Form
through the Internet.
The customer registration information is compiled and stored
in HomeComm's Centralized Subscribers Database Center. Different
departments in HomeComm can access the information for accounting,
follow-up purposes, customer care, research and etc. Payments
to these services can either be made electronically or by
cheque.
The registration process will include an agreement or disclaimer
notice. The subscriber is required to accept and abide by
the rules and regulations stated in the notice. If the subscriber
does not accept the agreement, the registration will be
aborted.
Bill Presentment and Payment
Bill Presentment and Payment is an online billing system
enabling subscribers to view their billing information,
and make payment through the Internet. Bill Presentment
and Payment service complements the Subscription Services
by allowing subscribers to retrieve their account information
for example access to billing detail, billing amount and
due date, online through the Internet. Bill Presentment
and Payment provides the flexibility to subscribers as to
when they wish to view the billing information, to conveniently
view the billing information from home, work, or while traveling
and make secured electronic payments through the Internet.
HomeComm will also have the option of designing its services
so that subscribers can connect directly to other services
or sites, for example public utilities like electricity,
water and telephone services, to get both bill summary and
detailed billing information. Subscribers will be able to
review a consolidated list of bills, including the amount
and date due, and pay each or any of the bills.
The subscribers can have access to Bill Presentment and
Payment service when they subscribe to HomeComm services.
Access to this service is made, by entering the account
number, subscriber id or any other security access code.
